National Guard Enlistment Bonuses in 2026
Joining the Colorado Army National Guard means serving your state while building a strong foundation for your future. In 2025, the Guard is offering some financial incentives, including enlistment bonuses of up to $20,000, student loan repayment, and tuition assistance totaling over $100,000.
While money isn’t the only reason people choose to serve, it can make a life-changing difference. Many enlist to protect their communities, gain valuable skills, and be part of something bigger than themselves. Unlike many civilian jobs, where raises and benefits take years, the Guard offers meaningful financial rewards from day one. These incentives
aren’t just one-time bonuses; they’re designed to support your future, reduce debt, and give you the freedom to focus on what matters most.

Tuition Assistance
In addition to enlistment bonuses and loan repayment options, the Guard offers generous education benefits to help you reach your academic goals such as:
- State Tuition Waiver: Covers up to 100% of in-state tuition
- Federal Tuition Assistance: Up to $250 per credit hour (up to 16 credit hours per year)
